Locksmith Frauds
Finding a locksmith in Phoenix Arizona

This true story is about a woman stranded in a Wal-mart parking lot, who first phoned a rip off locksmith (who had a really thick foreign accent) and was told that the “labor” to get her back into her truck “started at $35 ” and they could be there in 15 minutes.
The woman gave them her location information, and then waited 20 minutes. After 20 minutes a different man (again, a thick foreign accent) was rude and told her she was not waiting long and he would be there in about 30 minutes.
Wow. What a way to treat a customer stranded in a parking lot!
This woman started to get a bad feeling and then phoned The Lock Lady Locksmith who gave her a flat rate for service and a 15 minute arrival time; showed up on time and opened her truck for the price she quoted.
The woman had cancelled the previous company, and immediately, different men from different phones began further harassing this woman! These men (all with thick accents) telling her she was going to “get f**ked!” “I’m showing up b***h and you will pay me!” Understandably, the woman was really frazzled. This company is so awful and corrupt that one cannot understand even what company they are calling into because the phone numbers are all different. They charge outrageous prices when they finally arrive to you too.
Currently, there are no Arizona laws that protect the public from these types of corrupt locksmiths.
For a lock out situation, a professional locksmith should be able, after a few questions, give you a firm, flat rate to come get you into your car. The flat rate, the way The Lock Lady does business, is based on the type of vehicle, home, or building she has to open, where you are stranded, and the circumstances of your situation.
This story is a true story and you can see the post from the customer on www.facebook.com/locklady. The Lock Lady Locksmith offers a consultative approach for all her customers professionally based on their unique situations. For the past eight years, she has thrived on referrals from her long term client base. And if you are anywhere in our metro area and need a locksmith in Phoenix, just call The Lock Lady at ASAP Lock & Security for fair, prompt and professional service.
locksmith-az
ASAP Lock & Security customers arrive via phone call to discuss how recently a family member or a friend was ripped off by a locksmith. It’s very sad to continue to see articles in the New York Times still commenting about locksmith fraud. Here in the Phoenix valley professional locksmith az is unfortunately, hard to find. One of the reasons is due to lack of state licensing for Arizona locksmiths. Please let’s not get into criticizing the great state of Arizona. There are only 13 states in the US that license locksmiths. California is one of them. I know a very professional locksmith in California that informs me all the time that locksmiths pose as licensed, when they are not. Simple fact is that you can pass licensing in a state, but what good is it if it is not enforced? For your protection, as a consumer, bottom line is this, for professional locksmith service, call now and interview who you would want to do business with if the time ever came for you to call on an Arizona locksmith. Hey, ask for me! My name is Laura, I own ASAP Lock & Security, and I can attest and I have many client testimonials too who can say without a doubt, I am a talented, honest and professional Arizona locksmith and reputable business owner. Let me help you and I certainly appreciate my loyal customers.
Woman Escapes Locksmith Scam-Hires ASAP Instead
ASAP Lock & Security, a trusted Scottsdale locksmith service. Why can we say it? Testimonials. A woman was the victim of a locksmith scam. She lost the keys to one of her investment homes in Scottsdale. She looked up the first company listed on the internet,I’m not going to list their name here, but this company advertises the claim that they come out for $25.
Be careful of locksmith companies that are solely advertising just to get the Google rank. The ones that have no apparent “real name” if you will. You know, like just “Phoenix Locksmiths” or “Scottsdale Locksmiths.” Eeek.
Did you know, Arizona, that these types of scam companies can use criminals who show up for your service calls? Yup. No formal background check licensing required in our state.
ASAP Lock & Security does NOT use criminals. Background Check is REQUIRED to work on our team. That is a specific ASAP Lock & Security company policy.
So…back to the story. They go out to this woman, glance at her deadbolt and say “I’m going to have to drill it then install a new one” Now, there are some locks now on the market where…this is a true statement. Hers wasn’t one of them. “Oh, and I’m going to have to charge you $200 extra to do the work.” So according to my customer, this guy shows up in an SUV, not looking very professional, no shirt displaying company name, nothing. She SENT HIM AWAY. (applause-applause)
Then she did a better research on the internet and found ASAP Lock & Security.
We quoted on the phone, arrived on time and opened her door in about 20 seconds. She paid what we quoted. This smart woman did NOT get SCAMMED. She is an inspiration to ALL consumers.
Go with an ethical Arizona locksmith company. Call ASAP Lock & Security. We will always do the best thing for our customers. We are professionals. We are knowledgeable. We are your community locksmith company.

Locksmiths on the Internet
Jeez. I guess that’s the only way to start this post. The internet is SATURATED with locksmiths in the Phoenix valley. It’s very hard for a consumer to figure out who is who what is what. Who do you trust with your security?
There are A LOT of scam artist companies advertising here in the valley. Non-local, lock service advertising trying to lure in the unsuspecting. I wanted to post here, as the owner of ASAP Lock & Security, that these companies are bogus and they bother me deeply. It is WRONG and IMMORAL to take advantage of people in an emergency situation..be it locked out of their home, car or office. WRONG. Beware of the 800 phone numbers and well, they even have local numbers too, but they ring into a hub somewhere…be it Toronto or Atlanta. So watch out and ask questions. If the owner won’t get on the phone with you? They most likely are a scam company.
Speaking as the owner of a locksmith service that is established here in the valley, it is very apparent that ASAP Lock & Security has strong business ethics and we are qualified trade professionals. I can support this very simply: ASAP Lock & Security has a strong client referral base. Our customers like to pass the word along to friends and colleagues Our customers have loyalty when it comes to their locksmith security company and we own that loyalty and give back with THE BEST LOCK SERVICE and security they desire. Referrals are our biggest compliment!
Call ASAP Lock & Security@ 480-380-2080 BEFORE there is an emergency or if you have a security question and want to speak to a locksmith.
